Oktava MD-44 mini bullet with Hi-Z Calrad dynamic element

Vintage Russian Oktava MD-44 microphone with New Old Stock Carlard high impedance (50k ohm) dynamic element.

It is a very small microphone, we can say an extra mini bullet, very comfortable for those with small hands.

Even though the element is Hi-Z, the output volume is lower than what we would expect from a Hi-Z microphone and is a little lacking in bass. However, combined with a tube amplifier, you can get a good chicago blues sound by raising the volume as much as possible.
